Very exciting milestone for our Team and Company ilika Geospatial. Our climate related and weather indices can give #alternativedata providers like Eagle Alpha an edge in the marketplace. Investment firms can leverage this data to make better informed decisions as it relates to agricultural prices, travel, tourism, and consumer spending.

Climate change is real, and has real impact on people’s lives and livelihoods. And it is personal for us.
Our founder, Pankaj Patil, witness many such tragedies on his community while growing up on a farm in drought prone region in India. That prompted Pankaj to tap into his NASA roots and create a free weather app, Hawamaan, to dispense accurate weather forecast along with latest imagery from NASA satellites.
That’s how ilika got started. We will always stay true to our roots – Hawamaan app will remain free and without advertisement forever and we will make our indices available to researchers, educators and citizen scientists.
